Paper & Fibre

Paper accounts for about 75% of timber fibre consumption by volume. In some of our most beautiful forest up to 90% of the timber removed ends up as woodchips. Even worse, a lot of timber in logged areas is not removed and ends up being burned. It isn't only wasteful, it is stealing Earth's resources and beauty from future generations.

We can reduce the pressure exerted on forest by recycling all paper fibre and by buying and using recycled paper products. Information on alternative paper products can be found here and also at Australian Paper Watch and here .
